Marketing Seminar This weekend was incredible! It is amazing how important it is and how much of a difference it makes to apply oneself and find the most beneficial sources for success. I attended a marketing seminar this weekend catered to the career of acting. It seems that marketing yourself as an actor is not simply what you are told about submitting headshots and constantly being seen by numerous directors and others in the business. I have been implementing all that I have learned so far and it seems like it is making a difference. There will be follow ups as I go through and follow the curriculum. As for everything else, things are going well as I continue to exert myself to my acting. Each day I have scheduled in specific tasks, including things that might not normally be in an actor's repertoire such as voice exercises and more! Read the Full Story
Today is the Day! Today is the day! The first day of the rest of my acting career. Every day counts, and don't let anyone tell you differently. A day of work, effort, perseverance all pays off. Sometimes you need help, go get it! Sometimes you need a day off, relax! It is all for one purpose, and that purpose is success. Just make sure to take everything in moderation. Don't "relax" for four weeks, unless you've worked yourself to the absolute bone. Wasting time is not an option, and feeling like you've wasted time is just as harmful. Today is a new schedule, but just a single page in the story of my life. Read the Full Story

Short Film - Daisy Duck

frontpage Daisy Duck A Short Film by Patrick Reid

When undercover cops have a little too much time on their hands, their conversations get rather intriguing...

Another short written, directed, produced, edited and acted in my Patrick Reid hits the stands. Daisy Duck, an idea that was started when Patrick was in his early 20's, stands out as the perfect way to characterize what too much free time in an undercover cop's life does. During a drug bust, the story takes us to two cops who have already exhausted their "work" sucbjects.

"If you could do any Disney character, who would you do?" It is a question asked often of all of us, although an answer is perhaps not always given due to the risque nature.

One of Patrick Reid's first films, he is able to show off his multiple talents in being able to write worthwhile material, act, and direct himself and his fellow actors.
